• 02-09/2006: Postdoc at Kiel University working on “Evolution of Pliocene paleoceanography in the subpolar northwest Atlantic during the onset of Northern Hemisphere Glaciation”.
• 2002-2005: PhD student at Kiel University, working on “Short-term climate variability in the North Atlantic during the onset of northern hemisphere glaciation and the final closure of the Panamanian seaways, 3.3-2.5 Ma”, supervised by Prof. M. Sarnthein and Dr M. Weinelt in the frame of the Research Unit “Ocean Gateways”.
